A call to action in education…

 

…and an acknowledgement of where we are today.

We are just emerging from the largest unintended experiment in teaching and learning in the history of higher education. We need to acknowledge how the covid-19 experience has become a part of our context and recognize that there is no going “back to normal.” In learning from this experience, we can identify new best practices and things to avoid as we seek to foster diversity, equity, and students’ sense of “mattering” while working towards educational effectiveness tailored for each institution’s unique combination of mission + context.
